ABOUT THE EVENT
Witchtober is here and we're celebrating the Libra new moon the only way that makes sense: caffeinated, costumed, and with our coven.
We'll meet at Queen City to grab some witches brew, then wander over to Berkeley Lake for a whimsical little stroll through the crunchy leaves. Good coffee, good company, and fresh intentions for the season ahead.
🌚 Why the New Moon? New moons are all about fresh starts, and this one lands in Libra, the sign of balance, harmony, and the connections that make life sweeter. It's the perfect moment to slow down, breathe in the crisp fall air, and set intentions alongside your fellow witches.
🍂 The Walk We'll stroll around Berkeley Lake at a relaxed, chatty pace, with plenty of room to pause, sip, and connect along the way.
🌙 Closing Circle We'll end together in a closing circle to share a few community announcements and manifest our new moon intentions together. Stick around afterward to browse Coffee & Crystals goodies before you head home. ✨
🧙♀️The dress code is whimsical witch
Pointy hats, flowy skirts, velvet cloaks, crystal jewelry, broom optional (but encouraged). Cottagecore witch, forest fae, kitchen witch with a latte... dress however your magick moves you. Bonus points for maximum whimsy!
🎟️ This event is FREE, and donations are always welcome! When you register, you can choose to add a contribution at checkout. Every bit goes directly toward keeping events accessible, covering costs, paying our facilitators, and building toward our next chapter: a permanent home for Coffee & Crystals. Our own witchy third space, built by this community, for this community. 💜✨

✨ Whimsy Witch Mini Photoshoots ✨
During the walk we will be capturing whimsical content for Coffee & Crystals. After our walk you'll have the chance to get your own whimsical witch photos with our very own photographer witch, Heather Osburn, founder of Spontaneous Studio. All the more reason to go all out on your outfit! Individual photoshoots will be held until 2:30 pm.

How much is the event?
The event is FREE! :) When you register, you'll have the option to add a contribution of any amount at checkout to support Coffee & Crystals, but it's completely optional. You're just as welcome to join us at $0.
Mini photoshoots with Heather after the walk are a separate add-on at $50 per person, paid directly to her at the event.
Can I donate items instead of money?
Yes, please! We're collecting gently used metaphysical items for an upcoming Coffee & Crystals fundraiser that gets magickal tools into the hands of community members who might not otherwise have access to them. Tarot and oracle decks, crystals, books, pendulums, runes, and other divination tools are all welcome. Just bring them with you to the walk.
How long is the walk?
We will stroll around Berkeley Lake and we'll go at a relaxed, chatty pace with plenty of room to pause, sip, and take photos.
What do I wear?
Your most whimsical witch look! Pointy hats, capes, flowy skirts, velvet, crystals, mushroom everything. Go as big as your magick moves you. Just pair it with comfy walking shoes and dress in layers, since October mornings in Denver can start chilly and warm up fast.
What should I bring?
A little cash or card if you want coffee at Queen City
Gently used metaphysical items to donate, if you have any
Something to sit on for our closing circle, like a blanket, mat, or cushion. You can carry it with you or drop it off at our circle spot walk; someone will be keeping an eye on everything while we stroll.

Is coffee included in my ticket?
Coffee is on your own, but you'll want to grab one. We'll be gathering at Queen City's Berkeley shop, and they just launched their fall seasonal syrups: Pumpkin Spice, Salted Maple, and Blackberry (which looks especially magickal layered in a matcha). 🍂☕
Plan to arrive before 10:50 am so you have time to order and get your drink before we head out at 11:11.
Where do I park?
Street parking is available near Queen City or the Berkeley Lake Park lot.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes! Just make sure they grab their own spot, since space is limited.
Can I bring my dog and kids?
Leashed pups welcome! Kids welcome with an adult / This event is 18+.
What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?
This event is weather permitting. If the sky has other plans, we'll let you know with next steps.
How do the mini photoshoots work?
After the walk, Heather Osburn of Spontaneous Studio will offer individual whimsical witch photoshoots until 2:30pm. Each shoot is $50 per person and includes 5 to 8 edited photos. Payment goes directly to Heather at the event via Venmo or cash. Spots are limited, so please reserve your spot when you register!
What's your refund / cancellation policy?
Due to the nature of this event, refunds are not available. Any contribution you add at checkout goes directly toward supporting our work at Coffee & Crystals! If you can no longer attend, just email us at hello@coffeeandcrystals.com so we can open your spot to another witch.
